Sophrosyne’s Saturday Salon: Philips Design Probes/SKIN:Tattoo

This Saturday from 1-3 pm SLT at The Nexus in Extropia Core, Sophrosyne’s Saturday Salon will do something different: we’re going to host a Philips Design Probe to discuss SKIN:Tattoo, a revolutionary new concept in body art.

Yel Oh of the Philips Design team and a Citizen of Extropia, will be our Salon Spotlight Guest for the Design Probe:

Philips Design Probes is a dedicated ‘far-future’ research initiative to track trends and developments that may ultimately evolve into mainstream issues that have a significant impact on business. It challenges conventional ways of thinking to come up with concepts to stimulate debate.

One of this year’s Probe project areas is SKIN, which examines the future integration of sensitive materials in the area of sensing – the shift from ‘intelligent’ to ‘sensitive’ products and technologies.
